Korerwa-Burundi is a platform made for young Burundians😊 to share their thoughts, culture, and knowledge😋. We want everyone's voice, story and experience to be heard, and everyone's thoughts to be expressed without any consideration of gender, race, or geographic boundaries. We strongly believe that our lived experiences shape our personality and are a part of our identity, and that our diversity, as a society, is an asset to be cherished🤩 and our strength💪 to be preserved🫡.

Our posts turn around subjects which are structured in a way that shares, questions, and educates.

Sharing

Because of its worthiness, we want to touch and talk about our everyday life, expand it, and value the wonderful talent and creativity of the youth while they recount their stories📜 .

For example, why not talk about our culture, which is constantly changing over time due to the way we are open to the cultures of others🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♂️? This can improve our culture and keep it moving forward, but it can also regress our culture and keep it going backward.

Questioning

Take a seat and think together

In this era of boom in technology, we can ask ourselves the differences between a human and a robot ⁉️ There are many differences, and among them lies: questioning . We can question everyone and everything.🤓

Questioning is the second step we take after observing different practices of a given society. It helps us review what we used to consider right🙂 or wrong🙄, and when done objectively, it can heal our blindness and leave no room for mob mentality🤩.

We question to make things clear, to seek for answers, and to understand practices.

Educating

Education is power

As Rushd said, ignorance leads to violence. Our purpose is that people should have the opportunity to learn more about different topics and get the opportunity to discuss them as a way of educating ourselves, getting wind of each other's prospects🫱🏼‍🫲🏽, and learning to cohabit together as one whole✨.

Come and explore this big universe itself from talents to acquired things, from myths to real stories, from thoughts to laws, and from discovering ourselves to discovering others.
